You can also operate it with voice commands…even turn the cam on and off…start/stop recording etc.You can start/stop record from the button on the gimbal where your thumb is. The gimbal has a screw hole for mounting to things.eg my motorized pan/tilt tripod. You can get into camera settings from the mode button on the gimbal. You can recharge the gopro from the gimbal while using it. I’ve got a tripod for it and a telescopic extension handle.

It has a thumb button which can move 4 ways like a joy stick..motorized cam movement. Obviously you can see what you’re shooting for the gopro rear screen (not switched on)…
And from the mobile app .bigger screen

Gimbal. Not the easiest thing to set up but with practice will get easier. You have a certain amount of freedom of movement..but not unlimited. The idea I guess is to keep it level with your hand and eye primarily..the rest the gimbal takes care of.

Having an inventory check on the video gear I bought over the last 3 years. Y.T 500. Remote controlled pan and tilt. Invaluable for filming. Smooth prof footage.

This was a trailer I did for Waterfall 2 years ago. Done in After Effects The water droplets were created using a mask and reverse engineering an online tutorial project. I’ve done a lot of image processing stuff on previous hobby projects so I can kinda fake it 😆.

Audio coming for both Resolume and Abe. Our footage will use no audio of course…but I could just as easily mute the volume in Resolume as well. I need to try fit the output better to the screen space now. I’ve got loads of stuff we can use. Obviously darker environment works better for projectors.
That footage is 2 separate displays from the hdmi outs on the laptop. It means that we can display the Resolume vid output on display 2 which is the projector screen and the laptop scteen on display 1..which is the laptop screen. We get to see Abe on the laptop with no interference from the Resolume vid. Changing tracks in Abe with the piano ok and midi messages from my footpedals for controlling the loop in Abe ok which means we can extend the sequence live at the end of tracks for variable length outros..start/stop loop. So all we need now is video content. Milkdrop is the first port of call!

Got the projector and screen running Resolume with Abe. Will stress test the CPU and HD tomorrow with sequencer + Vid file + keyboard playing to see if it can handle it. It should be fine. We can test it down Pirate before we use it.
